Wir stehen für 36 Jahre Solidarität statt Ausbeutung, Gemeingut statt Eigentum, Verwurzelung statt Verdrängung, Gleichwürdigkeit statt Unterdrückung und Hingabe statt Zwang.
Wir feiern die Gewissheit, dass kein Mensch und kein Raum illegal ist. Ein Ort der Selbstorganisierung von unten, der sich weigert, verwertbar zu werden. Wir stehen fest als Laboratorium gegen die Kommerzialisierung öffentlicher Räume und danken all den Menschen, deren gemeinschaftlicher Zusammenhalt die Rote Flora zu dem gemacht hat, was sie ist – unsere Area. Dank dieser kollektiven Kraft blieb sie bestehen und wurde nicht einem profitorientierten Musicaltheater geopfert.

Als intergalaktischer Charakter verwandeln wir die Flora in eine kosmische Zone der Zugehörigkeit. Wir laden ausdrücklich Anwohner:innen und Kinder ein, Teil dieses Raumschiffs zu sein.
Wir feiern bewusst, aber nicht gedankenlos.Kein Sexismus. Kein Klassismus. Kein Lobbyismus. Kein Nationalismus. Kein Rassismus. Kein Antisemitismus. Kein Antimuslimismus. Alle Räume leben von Respekt, Achtsamkeit und Zusammenhalt. Freiheit heißt hier nicht Beliebigkeit, sondern Verantwortung füreinander.

36 years not sold, not controlled, and not categorized. With AREA 36, we temporarily open what is structurally missing. Between art, live music, and bass, we create visibility for all that is otherwise overlooked. We celebrate diversity as a practice, not as a label. We stand for 36 years of solidarity instead of exploitation, commons instead of property, rootedness instead of displacement, equality instead of oppression, and dedication instead of coercion.
We celebrate an anti-imperialist independence movement at the heart of gentrification. We celebrate the certainty that no person and no space is illegal. A place of self-organization from below that refuses to be commodified. We stand firm as a laboratory against the commercialization of public spaces and thank all the people whose collective solidarity has made the Rote Flora what it is – our Area. Thanks to this communal strength, it has survived and was not replaced by a profit-driven musical theater.
No Alien Is Illegal – this applies intergalactically as well. Come as YOU are, or become what you have always wanted to be. As an intergalactic character, we transform the Flora into a cosmic zone of belonging. We explicitly invite local residents and children to be part of this spaceship.
We celebrate consciously, but not thoughtlessly. No sexism. No classism. No lobbying. No nationalism. No racism. No anti-Semitism. No anti-Muslim sentiment. All spaces live on respect, mindfulness, and solidarity. Freedom here does not mean arbitrariness, but responsibility for one another.
